Fresh Alaskan Sweet and Spicy White Cod Fillet Sandwich
Slice of Fresh Alaskan White Cod Fillet
1 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon organic sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1-2 teaspoon salt
1-2 teaspoon black pepper
1 - 2 teaspoon red crushed peppers
1 organic egg
2 Slice of Pumpernickel bread
Chop onions, peppers and kale leaves. Fry with 1 teaspoon of oil (I used sesame oil) in a frying pan. Allow to cook for about 2 minutes.
Combine all ingredients (sugar, soy sauce, red crushed pepper) with kale and peppers in the sauce pan. Gentle mix until sugar is dissolved and sauce has a creamy texture to it. (see picture above).
Preheat pan with oil. season both sides of the fish with salt and black pepper. Place fillet on pan and fry on each side for about 5 minutes. (If using a pan, make sure you cover the pan so the fillet cooks properly on both sides)
Add 1 teaspoon of butter or use non sticky cook spray to a small frying pan, prepare the egg on both sides.
Warm up the Pumpernickel, when ready top with fillet, eggs, and sweet and spicy veggies sauce.
