Baked Smokey Chipotle Lime Salmon

Baked Smokey Chipotle Lime Salmon


  • 1 pound of sockeye salmon
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 lime, juice and zest
  • 1 tsp chipotle chili seasoning
  • 1 tbsp maggi seasoning (you can also use adobo)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic


  1. Preheat the over to 400 degrees.
  2. Add your seasonings in a bowl and mix together.
  3. Place the salmon on a foil, pat down if wet and seasoning the salmon with your mix. Brush the salmon with oil and zest the lime over it (Hold lime in one hand and zester in the other.)
  4. Set aside while the oven heats up.
  5. Place the salmon in the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked.
  6. Be careful when you are moving the fish from the oven, it will be extremely hot. Allow the dish to cool down before serving.
  7. Add oil to the remaining seasoning you didn't use, mix it together and brush it over the salmon. Garnish the dish with freshly parsley for your final presentation.
