Jack Daniel BBQ Ribs

  • 1 bottle of Jack Daniel's Smokey Sweet Glaze
  • Two sides/racks Baby Back Ribs (1-2LB)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp mild chilli powder
  • 1 -2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 3-4 Tbsp of Jack Daniel or whiskey of your choice

  1. Thoroughly combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl to make Barbecue rib rub.
  2. Apply a very small amount of olive oil to both sides of the ribs. Season the ribs on both sides with Barbecue rib mix.
  3. Now place in baking tray or (zip lock bag) and leave covered with foil in the fridge for about an 1hr or overnight for great flavor.
  4. Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.
  5. Place tray of ribs at the bottom oven shelf for 30 minutes.
  6. The ribs are done when they are tender enough to tear apart with your fingers. Remove the ribs and allow to cool before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  8. Enjoy! Make sure you tag #DinnerWithTayo, I would love to see your dish.
