Breakfast - Nights and WeekendsSteaks and Eggs Avocado Toast

If you are looking for a random and good location for brunch, Nights and Weekends is the perfect restaurant for you. Randomly stumbled upon this restaurant after having a crazy wait time across the street at Five Leaves. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m glad I made the decision.

Cool space in a triangle located in the corner of the street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I must say the ambiance of the restaurant is really nice with a laid back atmosphere to it. It’s a latin inspired restaurant with a good music selection and good bar with TONES of drink options.

Let’s get to the important stuff, the food. I started off with an order of avocado toast ($9) served with crushed avocados with sea salt, aleppo and shaved scallions on a toasted 7-grain bread. Good starter but will fill you up quickly. It’s served with A LOT of avocado spread which I didn’t expect but it’s definitely enjoyable. I took the waitress recommendation on my second order and decide to go with the Steak and Egg ($15). Served with a medium well wagyu flank steak (tasty and has flavor), organic farm eggs (sunny side up), chimichurri and two tortilla wrap.  You can make a mini burrito if needed. You won’t be disappointed with this option.

Overall my experience at Nights and Weekends was a good one. I will give it a 3.8 out of a 5. It’s a great little location with a good atmosphere, awesome drink options. The waitress are definitely friendly.  I will definitely be back again.
