Spicy Baked Salmon and Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1Lb of wild caught Atlantic Salmon
  • 1/2Lb of shrimp
  • 1Tb creole seasoning
  • 1Tb of honey
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 - 2 tsp of red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • Pinch of fresh diced parsley
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Diced fresh green onion (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Clean the and remove the shell from the shrimp (I typically clean the shrimp myself but if you are at the grocery store you can always purchase cleaned shrimp)
  2. Place shrimp and salmon in a Ziploc bag.
  3. Stir and mix your marinate mix, soy sauce, creole seasoning, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, parsley, and honey in a bowl. Once it's ready, pour the marinate mix into the bag with the shrimp and salmon.
  4. Place the bag in the fridge and marinate for about 30 minutes - an hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Remove the Shrimp and Salmon from the bag and place on a non-stick pan. Bake the dish for 15-20 minutes. (make sure you gradually monitor the dish from time to time).
  6. Once it's ready, remove the dish from the oven. Grab a plate and serve the shrimp and salmon. Garnish with green tomatoes, a spoon from the remaining marinate sauce and grape tomatoes.
  7. Enjoy! Make sure you tag #DinnerWithTayo, I would love to see your dish.
