Shrimp and Squid Pasta Bowl
Great and fast pasta dish to make at home. This is a very simple and easy recipe to make. If you are looking for a different style of pasta dish, this recipe has your name written all over it.
Ingredients
- Whole wheat Pasta (Follow instruction on box for prep)
- 1 pound of jumbo shrimp
- 1/2 pound of squid
- 1 C of broccoli
- 1/4 Cup miced onions
- 1/4 Cup of mushrooms
- 1/2 Tbsp Black pepper
- 1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 Tsp sea salt
- Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Remove shell from shrimp and clean before you add season.
- Dice the mushroom and onions. mix together in a bowl and set aside.
- Cut the squid into small like pieces. and mix together with shrimp. Seasoning with salt, cajun seasoning and black pepper. Place in a bowl or ziploc bag and set aside for 10 minutes.
- Grab a skillet and add in a tablespoon of olive oil and heat the oil up over a medium high heat.
- Add the shrimp and squid mix into the skillet and allow this to cook for about 10 minutes or until the shrimp and squid are well cooked (should have an orange-ish color tone to the shrimp).
- Once that's ready, add in your veggies, broccoli, mushroom, and onions) cook for another 5 minutes.
- Drain out the excessive water from your pasta if needed. When your shrimp and squad sauce is done.
- Serve your pasta in a bowl, top with the shrimp and squid veggie mix and garnish with parmesan cheese.
