Oven-Baked BBQ Ribs

Ingredients

FOR THE RIBS

  • 2 lb. baby back ribs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. Creole seasoning
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne

FOR THE BARBECUE SAUCE

  • 1 1/2 C ketchup
  • 1/4 C apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika

Instructions

  1. Carefully slide a knife under the membrane and then peel it away.
  2. In a small bowl stir together brown sugar, Creole seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne. Rub mixture all over ribs on both sides and place on a prepared baking sheet. Cover with foil and set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, make the barbecue sauce: In a medium bowl combine all sauce ingredients together and pour the sauce over ribs, cover the foil and marinate this for up to 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat oven to 300° and place the ribs into the oven and bake for 3 hours. Remove foil from ribs and broil until sauce just starts to caramelize, 2 to 4 minutes.

  • 1lbs of pork baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons Chipotle seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven 375-degrees F. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, chipotle seasoning, chili powder, and salt and rub evenly on both sides of the rib.
  2. Place ribs in single layer foil pan. Cover and wrap with foil. (see pictures above)

  • 1 lbs. thin slice sirloin

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the beef into small pieces (see picture above), peal and cut the pear into small chunks. In bowl, add beef, pear, garlic, brown sugar and soy sauce, mix together. 
  2. Place the beef and mix into a pot, add oil, cover and cook on low-medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until the beef is tender and delicious. 
  3. Prep all your burrito fillings (cook the rice as directed on the instructions and mince the herbs)
  4. Lay a flour tortilla flat on a piece of foil. Place the rice, meat, herbs, kimchi, and sauce in the middle of the tortilla. Fold the sides up, then roll it up front to back and wrap it with foil. Cut it in half and it’s time to enjoy.
