Robert, Maggi is a seasoning. Where I live (Caribbean), I can get it in many flavors…meat, chicken, pork and vegetable. They are cubes you have to crush or add to liquid. The flavor is very good. Look in your “seasoning” section at your food store.
What is the Maggi for? Not sure I see the point of it in the recipe. Is it to produce a sauce as the liquid releases? Seems like unnecessary extra sodium.
WHAT IS MAGGI?? WHERE DO YOU GET GARLIC CHILI POWDER???
Hi Robert. Here’s a link to what the maggi seasoning is, you can purchase it at your local grocery store.
The Garlic chili powder can also be purchased at your local grocery store
Chicken bouillon

Walmart had some where I’m at.

Hey Darrell, if you don’t feel the need to add it in the recipe, you can remove it. (see comment above to see what it is)
Very yummy
Hey. How many grams would that chicken be? Where I live, we don’t get chicken packed like that 🙂
Hi Farrah, it’s about 453grams, which is equal to 1 pound.
What can I add to it to make it less dry with the rice?
You can add a tad bit of chicken stock.
Is 1/4 c broccoli the correct amount?
with all respect, the Chicken should be cooked before the Broccoli.
How much Broccoli should the recipe call for? 1/4 cup does not seem like enough.
Agreed! 1/4 cup is definitely not the amount in the picture either.
I am preparing 3 times the amount of chicken and broccoli, do I triple the other ingredients? I hope it’s not too spicy, because it’s sautéing at this time.
No do not triple the ingredients. Measure to your preference.
what is the size of each serving
